May 1st Has Always Meant Something

A day every athlete in USA Luge thinks about

For years, I was the kid waiting for my mom to send me the team listing—counting down the hours, checking my phone, and waiting to see if my name would be there and where I would fall. It's a day every athlete in USA Luge thinks about, from the Development Team to the Senior National Team.

This year, my name is on that list—on a new team.

I'm proud to announce that I've been named to the Senior National Team.

What's Ahead?

Summer training is already underway—testing has begun, and the first training block is right around the corner. The cycle starts again.

But this season is different.

For the first time in my career, nothing is guaranteed. Being named to the National Team is just the beginning. This fall, I'll race for a spot on the World Cup team—where only four men's singles athletes will be selected.

Every week, every run, every result matters.

Focus and determination—the mindset for the journey ahead

Earning a place on the World Championships team—and securing a full-time spot on the World Cup circuit—will come down to performance. Nothing is guaranteed at this level.

There's pressure in that—but that's what I've worked for.

Having that pressure is a privilege.

My focus is simple: show up every day, put in the work, and trust the process.

Thank You

Ready for what's to come—the journey continues

This has been a dream of mine for a long time—and now it's real.

I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way. None of this happens alone.

There's still a long road ahead, and plenty left to prove—but I'm ready for it.

The journey to 2030 starts now.
